The River – Dirt

The River – Dirt

Jesus tells a story of a farmer scattering seeds. How some seeds fall on the road and get eaten by birds, some fall among thorns and get choked out before they can grow up tall, and some fall in a pile of rocks where they grow up and then get burnt by the sun. But there are some seeds that fall on good soil. Fertile soil. Healthy soil. From those seeds grow plants that produce lots of healthy fruit.
This year, we want to become like that. Good, healthy dirt where God can plant seeds, and fruit will grow.
